Our People, Off the Clock

Mike Kohut spends nine months a year coaching more than 70 athletes across the Marlton and Medford, New Jersey communities, focusing on flag football and basketball.

This past spring his teams brought home two Medford Youth Athletic Association Flag Football championships. His son Kamren led the way at quarterback in the high school division, accounting for 68 of the 77 touchdowns scored on the way to a second straight spring title. His daughter Avery secured five touchdowns and was a large part of the fifth grade team winning its first championship. His youngest, Lucas, played his first year of Pre-K and survived with minimal meltdowns and water breaks.

He does it alongside his day job as Baseline Coordinator for four USN/BMD baselines, while pursuing a master’s in business administration and project management. A retired U.S. Air Force veteran, Mike is Boarhog’s New Jersey Site Lead supporting AEGIS TECHREP Engineering Support Services.
